Wireless Headphones Number 1 for Outdoor Cinema in the Telegraph!

When we first supplied wireless headphones to a cinema customer back in 2011, little did either of us know that Outdoor Cinema and Feature Screenings would grow to be so popular.

Four years on, we've helped people show movies on beaches, in car parks, on rooftops, at festivals and at Drive-In Cinemas. It's great to see our client's hard work and creativity being recognised not just by the thousands of customers they attract, but in this Telegraph article.

Outdoor cinemas have been popping up globally in a bid to actively engage families, friends and partners. Many event organisers who are creating spectacular outdoor cinema and drive-in events have been using our Silent Disco headphone systems to help them deliver flawless audio at their film screenings. 

In 2020, many event creatives set up their own Drive-In Cinemas. The pandemic was the source of the switch as social distancing and isolation rules made it extremely difficult for the traditional model of outdoor cinemas to take place. Alternatively, Drive-In Cinemas still enabled film lovers and organisers the opportunity to comply with the regulations as attendees were in the ‘bubble’ of their car.

For Drive-In cinemas audio is broadcast wirelessly through Bluetooth speakers assigned to each car, instead of being delivered through headphones.
