Silent Band Takeover at 2000 Trees

We headed to the forest for 2000 Trees last week and put on more Silent Discos than you can shake a knobbly stick at.

Well, 6 to be precise.

We also provided a 2000 Trees festival first - A Silent Band Takeover.

Local heroes 'Thrill Collins' took over The Cave late on Friday night, banging out garage and pop covers to an adoring headphone wearing crowd. Yes, a band playing a Silent Disco. It works in exactly the same way as our Silent Disco set up, just with a feed from the band's mixing desk rather than the DJ's decks.

We also pulled up trees with our Silent Discos. Who would have thought an Alternative Rock crowd would love One Direction? Our DJs, that's who.
